Bozena Pszczulna-Szymanski is the owner of Paper Conservation Studio. From 1997 to 2003 she was Head Paper Conservator for Chicago Conservation Center. Prior to that Bozena worked for two years at the Chicago Historical Society treating a wide variety of works of art on paper and photographs. Between 1994 and 1995, she treated fifty volumes of photographic journals for the George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, Rochester, New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Conservation from the prestigious Nicolaus Copernicus University, Institute of Conservation, Torun, Poland. Her resume includes work as a conservator in Florence and London.
Bozena currently treats drawing, watercolors, maps, prints, posters, memorabilia, archival documents, vellum objects and Japanese screens for clients throughout America.
